Uncommon Coaching, Uncommon Results
Vision Volleyball Club is completing our 7th year and we are proud to be the largest girls volleyball club in the Gainesville, FL area. In 2016 we trained nearly 200 athletes! We coach and train at the highest level, using standards of skill training set by USAV. All of our athletes from 8-18 are taught using the same skill methods and key words, thereby creating a consistency in learning across every age group and skill level. While our coaches expect a lot from their athletes and push hard to make them better, we believe that encouragement and confidence building of young women is key. We subscribe to the methods outlined by the Positive Coaching Alliance utilizing their Double-Goal Coaching approach, meaning we coach for both Winning and Life Lessons. Athletes are taught to compete, yes, but also to put themselves second, behind the needs of of the TEAM as a whole. Service to teammates and others is key.
